Long before the creation of the company, our COO, Paul Prantilla, and CTO, Raymond Nunez, had a passion for improving cybersecurity here in the Philippines. Dedicated to spreading awareness on the subject matter, they provided trainings and seminars that educated staff, spearheaded investigations to find vulnerabilities in nationwide critical infrastructures, and continuously responded to serious cyber threats and cybersecurity attacks.

This led them to notice a lack in locally-based companies that were truly focused on providing the public with exceptional IT Security Services. At the time, IT companies were mainly selling security products and solutions such as firewalls which do not necessarily have the capabilities to protect all of an organization’s resources. Thus, the vision to become the most trusted and competent Philippine-based IT security service provider emerged.

Since then, Red Rock has been committed to that goal. We have mentored and produced several waves of outstanding talent who have sinced reached highs of their own. From holders of the most prestigious global IT Security certifications, professors in cybersecurity, to the first Filipino SANS Instructor, our company has cultivated a team that constantly strives for excellence and a unique atmosphere for holistic learning and growth.

Dobbin Tan

Dobbin is an entrepreneur who has led companies in diverse segments such as telecom value added services, digital enterprise solutions, and IT education. Currently, he is an independent director in Alliance Select Foods, an international seafood company, and Philequity Fund, the country's top ranked mutual fund. He is also the school treasurer at Xavier School, a K-12 school founded and managed by the Society of Jesus. He graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a B.S. in Management Engineering, and earned his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also underwent the Management Development Program at the Asian Institute of Management, and the Strategic Business Economics Program at the University of Asia and the Pacific. Before embarking on an entrepreneurial path, he worked at San Miguel Corporation, a diversified conglomerate.

Paul Prantilla

Paul brings with him over 20 years of experience and certifications in the IT and Cybersecurity field. He started out his career as a Professor in Computer Science and as the first IT Director of the University of the Philippines Los Baños. He has since worked as an IT Manager in the United Nations, Director for Technical Operations in Chikka Philippines, and Director for Emerging Technologies in Globe Telecom. To maintain his unique competitive edge as Red Rock’s Security Consultant and Director for Security Operations, as well as share his advocacy of helping companies fight cybercrime, Paul consistently joins and has speaking engagements at security functions. Notably, he is a regular participant at the annual DEF CON, the world’s largest hacking conference.

Raymond Nunez

Even prior to co-founding Red Rock, Raymond was a sought-after security advisor for financial institutions, government agencies, and universities. He was a lead security architect of DICT’s iGov Project and led the establishment of its Security Operations Center. Today, Raymond still consults for the University of the Philippines Diliman, and teaches graduate courses at the Asian Institute of Management and De La Salle University. With an expanding collection of certifications under his belt, to date, he is the only Filipino to be awarded the DEF CON Black Badge and the SANS GIAC Security Expert (GSE) certification. His expertise is best showcased in his current role as Director for Digital Forensics and Incident Response.

Topher Tisang

From a help desk student assistant for the University of the Philippines Diliman Network (DilNet) to one of the most experienced practitioners in Red Rock, Topher’s skills in IT security are unstoppable. He now specializes in Offensive Security and leads Red Rock’s application and network security assessments and red teaming exercises.

Glezcelle Puntod

Combining a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from STI College with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering Technology from the Technological University of the Philippines, Glezcelle brings a strong academic foundation to her current role. Her professional journey includes valuable experience as an IT Operations Analyst at Accenture, complemented by industry-recognized certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA, CISCO, and other leading organizations.

Timothy Blanco

Timothy is an accomplished human resource professional, having handled recruitment, culture building, compensation and benefits, and organizational development in a variety of industries. His strategic thinking and leadership have resulted in high-performance, high-engagement teams that contributed overall business success.

The Red Rock team is led by prominent experts in their respective fields. Notably, our leadership consists of Chief Operating Officer, Paul Prantilla, and Chief Technology Officer, Raymond Nunez, who are considered to be among the pioneers of cybersecurity here in the Philippines. They have achieved huge milestones throughout their careers. From being the only Filipinos to win at DEFCON to attaining multiple prestigious certifications such as those from SANS, they continue to prove their mastery of the IT Security profession and inspire our staff to strive and grow in their technical skills and knowledge as well.
